NO.1

闲聊

Small talk is the quickest way to get people to like and maybe trust you. Worst scenario is it'd help fill the awkward silence at the very least, if you have failed to sweep them off their feet wew... Once you are confident enough about your language skills and acquainted with them enough, any topic both of you are comfortable with is certainly welcomed.

当你们共处一室时，即使互不认识，你也可以这样问：

“So what brings you here”

或是， 如果你在你朋友Bob的派对，你就可以问“How do you know Bob”

NO.2

赞美对方

每个人都喜欢听甜言蜜语。

你可以夸夸他们的个人装扮，告诉他们你有多喜欢：

“What a wonderful dress you’re wearing!”

如果他们只回答说“thank you”，你可以问，类似“Where did you get it” 或 是“What’s it made out of” 甚至是“Was it expensive”

这些问题非常有用,会让对方多告诉你一些关于他们的事。

介绍自己

Naturally, it's also expected of you to say something about yourself. Try take turns to ask questions. As the saying goes, it takes two to tango, or well, in this situation, to have a nice and friendly chit-chat!

不要仅仅说，“Hi, my name is John.” 告诉别人更多关于你 自己的信息。

“Hi, my name is John. I’m a friend of Bob’s from high school. We use to have the same math class together.” 这样可能捕捉到对方的兴趣，鼓励他们问你问题或告诉你更多关于他们的信息。

评论某事

不要直接问任何关于对方问题，你可以说类似“This is a great party” 或“What a lovely house this is.” 来诱导他们说出他们的看 法。就算这个房子或是派对不是他们的，这样的评论听起来也非常的舒服容易让人谈 论起来。就象是第一个建议，这些开场白能起很好的作用因为你和对方有共同之处：你们在互相交谈。

例句：

▶1. Sorry, I couldn't help overhearing―did you mention something about the football game

抱歉,我无意中听到―你刚才是不是在说足球比赛

▶2. How do you find things over here

你在这儿过得怎么样

▶3. It's fairly mild for the time of year, don't you think

对于一年中这个时候而言,天气相当温和了.你觉得呢
